Here comes CyanogenMod 10 based on Jelly Bean

Developers modification based on the original CyanogenMod Android (visually virtually no difference) issued the first statement on version 4.1 Jelly Bean.
We learn, among other things, that the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean adopts CynogenMod release number 10 In addition, if your phone has 512 MB RAM and is now supported by CyanogenMod 9 - should also carry the latest version of Android.
In addition CyanogenMod 10 will be much faster than CyanogenMod 9th Recall that CM9 has not yet appeared in a stable (but is now RC1), although Android 4.0 debuted a year ago. Such a large slip due to the huge difference between Android 2.3 and 4.0, and creator of CyanogenMod decided to rewrite the bulk of your code. But thanks to the transition from Android 4.0 to 4.1 should be much simpler.
While the authors still do not know exactly what changes will have to be (still no sources) that will surround the launcher, lockscreen and topics. Moreover, they add that the current Objective 1 is to complete work on CyanogenMod 9.0.0. After this stage, the work will last only for CM7 (Android 2.3) and CM10 (Android 4.1).
