Three billion downloads from AppWorld

It turns out that RIM has, however, some reason to smile. Manufacturer's famous BlackBerry handsets boasted that the number of downloads from the official app store - AppWorld - limit is exceeded three billion. Not bad.
As the official blog post on the BlackBerry said the same company - three billion downloads means that on average every single day download of the store about 2.5 million of various applications. What's more - a persistently upward trend. Steal the first billion took AppWorld entire 786 days (over two years). On the second billion service need only 210 nights, and the third picked up at an alarming rate of 176 revolutions the earth on its axis. Colorful. On the occasion of celebration of this very impressive result as RIM, the company did not hesitate to thank everyone who contributed in any way to achieve it (just for example, through the creation of one of the 90 000 applications available on the AW).
Well, well - everything would be fine, fine, if not for the fact that the results still fall AppWorld horribly pale at the results achieved by the shops from Google and Apple. I have a strange feeling that the more quickly it will not change.
