From the beginning, Microsoft announced that the new operating system will run faster and will draw less power than the previous edition.
It seems that the Redmond company has kept her word. Still unfinished version of Windows 8 already runs more than half faster than the Windows 7 operating system Closing time with the OS is less, but there just slightly.
Windows 7 runs on average in 38 seconds, while the first magazine PCMag tests show that Windows 8 is loaded in just 17 seconds. The current generation of Microsoft's closure needs 12.2 seconds, while the process for Windows 8 goes below 10 seconds and lasts for 9.9 seconds.
A lot faster Windows 8 turns out to be even with the speed of the web browser and video rendering. Problems arise however in the case of file transfer.
