HTC beats Apple

July 4, 2012, the British, the Supreme Court held that three of the four patents filed by Apple as affected by HTC were invalid, and that HTC did not infringe four of them.
HTC is therefore no reason to celebrate, because Apple struck at HTC and popular functions used in their phones. It patents include Apple's flagship feature "slide to unlock" and manage your photos. In addition to the dispute concerned a multilingual keyboard, as well as the recognition of gestures on the screen (touch one finger, or multiple). Sentencing judge found that Apple's claims are unfounded, because the solutions in question, eg "slide to unlock" does not have any Apple innovation and the use of pre-existing solutions such as phone, Neonode N1, or Windows CE. As we can read in a statement HTC "The company is pleased with the court's ruling, which is further proof that Apple was falsely against HTC. Disappointment is, however, that Apple will compete in the courtroom than in the marketplace."
It is impossible not to admit because of HTC that litigation and patent wars are a favorite way to fight Apple with the other manufacturers and competitors.
