Less frequently used phone to make phone calls

Young people leaning over the screens of smartphones engaged in writing e-mails, texting, checking Facebook and using the application. But it happens less and less frequently, the user of secondary school age and a student reaches for the phone to ... to call.
Current Ofcom study shows that 96 per cent of Britons aged 16-24 use the phone every day to send text messages, 90 percent for texting, and 73 percent for social networking. Meanwhile, only 67 percent performed at least one call a day. The overall decline in the number of calls by cell minutes was up 5 percent, the highest in years. Specialists combine this with the popularity of mobile Internet-enabled applications and the availability of social networking sites.
In the U.S., the Pew Institute study shows a similar trend. 63 percent of teens send daily text messages, but only 39 percent use the phone to call. 29 percent of the time spent with smartphone consuming use of social networking sites. It seems that soon the person using the phone to ring is rare.
So operators are considering the introduction of subscriptions involving only data transfer. Is the cell phone without calling the function still make sense? Should not change the name?

Phone talkers produce more saliva

Indian researchers looked at the correlation between the frequency of phone calls and the amount of saliva. They concluded easy to predict, especially if you've ever looked at the phone gadułom - are in the mouth not only more to say.
The study was conducted in the College of Dentistry and Research Centre Vidhya Shikshan Mandal Prasark in Nagpur. The scientists went on believing that a mobile phone produced by non-ionizing radiation and heat can not fail to affect the tissues that are in their field of destruction. Stimuli reach such to the parotid glands. So the focus was on the check, as increased temperature and electromagnetic radiation affects the functioning of these glands.
We measured the amount of saliva produced by 142 people divided into two groups: individuals who spend very much time talking on the cell phone users and average. Measured using ultrasound or vapor volume parotid glands in all patients.
People often use the cells, glands located on the side where users keep hearing, secrete more saliva. About 26 percent more than in the control group! Salivary glands from the side of the head are also better blood supply and more.
Noting the correlation, scientists rushed to sentencing, what mechanism causes an overactive gland. Only suggest that the most likely explanation for the stimulation of salivary gland function by radiation. This would result in organ hyperplasia and increase in the amount of saliva produced.
