HDI Dune Announces the launch of a new model of media player of the TV series - Dune HD TV-201. The device is available in several versions equipped with internal tuner satellite receiver (model TV-201S2), cable (TV-201C), and both digital terrestrial DVB-T and DVB-T2 (TV-201T and TV-201T2 ).

Dune HD TV-201 is a set-top box, which in addition to traditional distribution channels signal also uses transmission over the Internet, allowing you to view VOD, IPTV and OTT. Playing video in Full HD and 7.1 audio standard provides processor Sigma Designs 8670, which has already proven itself in previous models of HDI Dune TV series. The manufacturer promises that the player can handle even the most demanding video formats, bitrates up to 50 Mbit / s, bezstratnymi audio formats such as FLAC and ALAC.

HDI Dune latest player to a large extent is based on its predecessor - TV-101, but the new model also features an internal TV tuner. In the version for satellite TV reception is available to assist input and output LNB Loop Out (pass-through), and models for cable and terrestrial antenna input uses RF and RF output (so-called loop antenna).

Two USB 2.0 ports located on the front and rear panel allow you to connect storage devices, external drives, and even a keyboard or mouse, which will facilitate the use of web services. On the back of the player also includes HDMI 1.3 ports, coaxial AV output (via mini-jack) and IR Extender.

Dune HD TV-201 allows you to play videos directly from the local network through the Fast Ethernet connector and a standard WiFi b / g / n. The new player can also act as a NAS with access via SMB and FTP protocols.

HDI Dune company also decided to add a new application model (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, AccuWeather) and the mini-games (Sudoku, Memory, Tetris).
